A Personal Story of Purpose and Passion In 2005, I stepped into a hospital in South India wearing a crisp white uniform, filled with the weight of a calling rather than fear. That moment marked the beginning of a lifelong devotion to nursing — a career that has touched me at the deepest human level.

In my early days, I learned that nursing is more than procedures and protocols. It's about holding hands, offering silent strength, and being present when it matters the most. I’ve witnessed life at its most fragile and its most resilient, and each experience has shaped not just my professional skills but my soul.

While the world often glorifies doctors, nurses remain the unsung heroes — quietly carrying the weight of care. But I never chose this profession for recognition. I chose it because I truly believe healing is sacred work. Today, as I pursue my Ph.D. and reflect on a journey filled with challenges, night shifts, emergencies, and moments of grace, I know I wouldn’t trade this path for anything.
